This guide will help you find and book the perfect rental property on MyGoodRental.
Searching for Properties
Using Search Filters
Find your ideal property using our search filters:
- Location: Enter a city, address, or region
- Dates: Select your check-in and check-out dates
- Guests: Specify the number of guests
- Price Range: Set your budget
- Property Type: Filter by house, apartment, cabin, etc.
- Amenities: Filter by specific features (pool, WiFi, pet-friendly, etc.)
Viewing Property Details
Each property listing includes:
- Photo gallery
- Detailed description
- Amenities and features
- House rules
- Cancellation policy
- Guest reviews
- Location map
Making a Reservation
Step 1: Select Your Dates
- Choose your check-in and check-out dates
- Review the total price including all fees
- Click Book Now or Request to Book
Note: Some properties offer instant booking, while others require host approval.
Step 2: Guest Information
Provide your details:
- Full name (as it appears on your ID)
- Contact information
- Number of guests
- Purpose of trip (optional)
- Special requests (optional)
Step 3: Payment
Complete your payment:
- Review the price breakdown
- Enter your payment method
- Accept the cancellation policy
- Confirm your booking
After Booking
Once your booking is confirmed:
- You’ll receive a confirmation email
- Check-in instructions will be provided closer to your arrival date
- You can message the host through the platform with any questions
Modifying a Booking
To request changes to your booking:
- Go to My Trips > Select your booking
- Click Modify Booking
- Request your changes (subject to host approval)
Important: Modifications may affect pricing based on the dates selected.
Cancelling a Booking
Each property has its own cancellation policy. To cancel:
- Go to My Trips > Select your booking
- Click Cancel Booking
- Review any applicable fees
- Confirm cancellation
Refund amounts depend on the property’s cancellation policy and how far in advance you cancel.
