Make the most of your stay and know how to handle any issues that arise.
Check-In
Before You Arrive
- Review check-in instructions sent by the host
- Note the check-in time (typically 3-4 PM)
- Save the host’s contact information
- Download any access codes or instructions
Arriving at the Property
- Follow the check-in instructions provided
- Verify the property matches the listing
- Test that all amenities work (WiFi, appliances, etc.)
- Report any issues immediately to the host
Contacting Your Host
Message your host through MyGoodRental for:
- Questions about the property
- Reporting issues or maintenance needs
- Requests for early check-in or late check-out
- Local recommendations
Go to My Trips > Select booking > Message Host
Tip: Keep all communication within MyGoodRental for your protection.
House Rules
Respect the host’s house rules, which may include:
- Quiet hours
- No smoking policy
- Pet restrictions
- Maximum occupancy
- Parking instructions
- Trash and recycling guidelines
Review house rules in your booking confirmation.
Reporting Issues
If something isn’t right:
- Contact the host first - Most issues can be resolved quickly
- Document the issue - Take photos if relevant
- Contact support - If the host is unresponsive or the issue is serious

Check-Out

After Your Stay
- Leave a review to help future guests
- Report any final issues within 24 hours
- Check for any post-stay charges (damages, extra cleaning)
