Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:

Understanding Your Total
Your booking total includes:

| Nightly Rate | Base price × number of nights |
| Cleaning Fee | One-time fee set by the host |
| Service Fee | MyGoodRental service fee |
| Taxes | Applicable local taxes |
| Total | Amount charged at booking |

Nightly Rate ($150 × 3 nights) $450.00
Cleaning Fee $75.00
Service Fee $52.50
Occupancy Tax $28.88

When You’re Charged
- At Booking: Full payment is collected when you complete your booking
- Security Deposits: If applicable, authorized (not charged) at booking and released after checkout
Receipts and Invoices
Access your payment records:
- Go to My Trips > Select your booking
- Click Receipt to download your receipt
- Receipts include all charges and applicable taxes
Refunds
Refund Timeline

Note: Actual refund timing depends on your payment method and financial institution.
Refund Amounts
Refund amounts depend on:
- The property’s cancellation policy
- When you cancel relative to check-in date
- The service fee policy (may be non-refundable)
Payment Issues
Card Declined
If your card is declined:
- Verify your card details are correct
- Ensure sufficient funds/credit are available
- Contact your bank if issues persist
- Try an alternative payment method
Disputed Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly:
- Review your receipt in My Trips
- Contact the host to discuss
- If unresolved, contact MyGoodRental support
Security
We take payment security seriously:
- All transactions are encrypted (SSL/TLS)
- We never store your full card number
- Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor
- Two-factor authentication available for your account
