Business accounts help you organize multiple properties and manage your rental business.
What is a Business Account?
A business account is a container for grouping your properties and bookings. This is useful when you:
- Manage multiple rental properties
- Have different business entities (LLCs, etc.)
- Want to separate personal and business rentals
- Need different payout destinations for different properties
Creating a Business Account
- Go to Host Dashboard > Settings > Business Accounts
- Click Create Business Account
- Enter your business details:
- Business name
- Business type (Individual, LLC, Corporation)
- Tax information
- Set up your payout method for this account
Assigning Properties
Each property belongs to one business account:
- When creating a new listing, select the business account
- To move an existing property:
- Go to Listings > Select property > Settings
- Under Business Account, select the new account
Note: Moving a property doesn’t affect existing bookings - they remain associated with the original account.
Managing Multiple Accounts
From Settings > Business Accounts, you can:
- View all your business accounts
- See properties assigned to each account
- Track earnings per account
- Manage payout methods for each account
Payouts by Account
Each business account can have its own payout destination:
| Account Type | Payout Options |
|---|---|
| Individual | Personal bank account |
| LLC/Corporation | Business bank account |
This allows you to direct earnings from different properties to different bank accounts.
Tax Considerations
Business accounts help with tax organization:
- Earnings are tracked separately per account
- Download account-specific earning reports
- Easier bookkeeping for multiple entities
Important: Consult with a tax professional about the best structure for your rental business.
