Keep your calendar up to date to avoid double bookings and maximize your occupancy.
Viewing Your Calendar
Access your calendar from Host Dashboard > Calendar. You’ll see:
- Booked dates: Shown in green with guest name
- Blocked dates: Shown in gray
- Available dates: Open for booking
Blocking Dates
Block dates when your property is unavailable:
- Click on the start date
- Drag to the end date (or click again)
- Select Block dates
- Add an optional note (e.g., “Personal use”, “Maintenance”)
Minimum Stay Requirements
Set minimum night requirements:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Default minimum | Applies to all dates |
| Weekend minimum | Friday-Saturday bookings |
| Seasonal minimum | Peak season requirements |
Go to Listing > Availability > Trip length to configure.
Syncing External Calendars
Sync with other platforms to avoid double bookings:
Export Your Calendar
- Go to Calendar > Settings
- Copy your iCal export URL
- Paste into Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms
Import External Calendars
- Go to Calendar > Settings > Import
- Paste the iCal URL from your other platform
- Set sync frequency (recommended: every 1 hour)
Important: Imported calendars only block dates. Pricing and booking details won’t sync.
Instant Book vs Request to Book
Control how guests book your property:
- Instant Book: Guests can book immediately without approval
- Request to Book: You review and approve each booking request
Configure in Listing > Availability > Booking settings.
