Managing Listings

This guide covers everything you need to know about creating and managing property listings on MyGoodRental.

Creating a New Listing

Property Information

When creating a listing, you’ll need to provide:

Property TypeHouse, apartment, cabin, etc.
LocationFull address of the property
CapacityMaximum number of guests
BedroomsNumber of bedrooms
BathroomsNumber of bathrooms

Setting Pricing

You can configure various pricing options:

  • Base Rate: Your standard nightly price
  • Weekend Pricing: Different rates for Friday-Saturday nights
  • Seasonal Pricing: Adjust rates for peak/off-peak seasons
  • Cleaning Fee: One-time fee per booking
  • Extra Guest Fee: Additional charge per guest beyond a threshold

Calendar Management

Keep your calendar up to date:

  1. Block unavailable dates
  2. Set minimum stay requirements
  3. Configure check-in and check-out times
  4. Sync with external calendars (iCal)

Editing Your Listing

To edit an existing listing:

  1. Go to Host Dashboard > Listings
  2. Click on the listing you want to edit
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save to update

Note: Some changes (like address) may require re-verification before they become visible to guests.

Deactivating a Listing

If you need to temporarily or permanently remove a listing:

  1. Go to Host Dashboard > Listings
  2. Click the listing you want to deactivate
  3. Click Deactivate Listing
  4. Choose whether the deactivation is temporary or permanent

Deactivated listings won’t appear in search results, but existing bookings will be honored.
