Learn how MyGoodRental handles payments and when you’ll receive your earnings.

How Payouts Work

When a guest books your property:

  1. Guest Payment: The guest pays the full amount at booking
  2. Funds Held: We securely hold the funds until after check-in
  3. Payout Initiated: 24 hours after check-in, we initiate your payout
  4. Funds Received: You receive the funds in your connected bank account

Setting Up Your Payout Method

To receive payments, you need to connect a payout method:

  1. Go to Host Dashboard > Payouts
  2. Click Add Payout Method
  3. Follow the prompts to connect your bank account via Stripe Connect
  4. Verify your identity (required by payment regulations)

Payout Schedule

Payouts are processed according to this schedule:

  • Standard: Funds released 24 hours after guest check-in
  • Processing: 2-3 business days for bank transfer
  • Weekend/Holidays: May extend processing time

Understanding Your Earnings

For each booking, here’s how your earnings are calculated:

Gross Booking Amount
- MyGoodRental Service Fee (X%)
- Payment Processing Fee
= Your Net Payout

Payout Issues

If you have issues with payouts:

  1. Verify your bank account is correctly connected
  2. Check for any identity verification requirements
  3. Ensure no holds have been placed on your account
  4. Contact support if issues persist

Important: Keep your payout information up to date to avoid delays in receiving your earnings.
